I am new to Trados Studio. I have done my first document translation using Trados and created my first TM. I have another similar document to translate. I have added this document in my project. However, when I open it to review the translation results that the TM should have generated, I find that there are hardly any matches, when in fact there are so many perfect matches. What am I missing? I have ticked the U{date box and all segments are confirmed and I can see my TM in the TM window.

How did you add the second document? If you added it as a single file translation or created a second project, have you also added the TM to it?
You can check if the TM is added from Project Settings - All language pairs - Translation memories and automated translation.

I added it to the project file as a single file. I have checked that the TM is added to the project and files. It is all there. Yet, results aren't pulling in.

Some screenshots would help us understand what's going on so we can help you.
In the meantime, when you say "when I open it to review the translation results that the TM should have generated, I find that there are hardly any matches", are you talking about the segments that were pre-translated from your TM?
What happens when you place your cursor in a segment that you remember to be a 100% match? Do you see anytying in the Translation Results window?
Sometimes, there may be a small difference, like an extra space, a bullet, some formatting that makes a match fuzzy instead of 100%. Could that be the case?
