Despite your post heading says TM, please can we re clarify - is it a TB (Termbase) you are struggling with right as you mention TB

Please can you also clarify where is your TB (Termbase hosted). Is this a file based TB meaning you have a sdlTB file local to your machine.

You mention you try add a term and nothing happens.
If you then launch MultiTerm and search for your newly added term in the actual MultiTerm UI - do you find it?

Have you ensured that both Studio and MultiTerm are on the same versions including latest CU?

Hi Lydia,

Sorry, it is a TB hosted in my local machine.

I also receive error messages from MultiTerm interface and cannot save new terms from the TB in Multiterm nor from Studio interface ("add as new term/quickly").

Could you let me know where to find the respective version numbers?

Cristina Gomez when you launch MultiTerm - go to the Help Tab.

There are some options to explore such as About (for version) and check for updates.

Ideally these should match your Studio details

My MultiTerm version is older.

I will upgrade it but doubt whether I should do it in the middle of the project.

Well then Cristina Gomez, I think this resembles a well known situation where Studio and the MultiTerm dependencies are unable to offer the set of features expected due to misaligned product versions.

From my experience no harm was ever done by upgrading Multi Term mid project - but will look forward to your confirmation when you feel comfortable

I cannot find any updates regarding the Multiterm version I have installed in my machine.

My current Multiterm version is 2021 SR2 16.2.1.1044 and my Studio version is Trados Studio 2021 Freelance 16.2.10.9305. 

You can see that the specific versions do not match but they are both the latest of each software.

Please let me know how else I can try to solve syncronization problems between the two.
