Hello, I am currently using Windows 11 and Trados Studio 2022.
At first, when I opened the file in review mode, part of the editor screen was broken, so I tried the following method.
Solution: Reset Trados Studio and/or MultiTerm to its factory settings
-
For Trados Studio:
- Browse to the relevant directory:
- Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\[VERSIONNUMBER]
- Windows 7/8/10: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\[VERSIONNUMBER]
- Find and rename/delete the following three files in that directory:
BaseSettings.xml
Plugincache.xml
UserSettings.xml
This will reset Trados Studio to its factory settings.
- Browse to the relevant directory:
But the problem hasn't been solved, so I deleted and reinstalled Trados 2022, and even updated Windows.
However, things are getting worse as I try several ways, and now I keep getting that error message in the title, so I can't even open files...
I'd appreciate it if you could help me.
