Dear Lydia, I am having the exact same issue: Studio 2022 crashes immediately and I have already tried repairing, uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting, and renaming the sdl folders but Studio 2022, after trying to start up, recreates this folder and the same error comes up again. I am a new user, this is my first license but I feel terrible.

Is it the exact same error as mentioned above or something different?
Are you using Trados 2022?
If yes, do you have any plugins installed?
You can find them here: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\17\Plugins\Packages

Hi Lydia, yes, I have the packages installed. Should I delete them?
Lydia, I can not be more thankful!!!! I have just deleted "Packages" and it worked!!!!!!!!!

When you add apps and plugins back in again let us know if you think 1 of them maybe causing you concern
