Hi again,
In case anyone else has this same issue with Trados Studio 2022 - 17.0.1.11652, please note:
I've managed to resolve the issue by unchecking the "Enable verification of segment" checkbox in Options>Editor>Automation>Enable verification of segment.
Please could this also be passed on to the relevant department so that it can be resolved in the next release?

Hi Paul Malone , this might be related to an issue we have since resolved with a new release of the plugin Multilingual Excel File Type, version 1.0.2.0
If you have this plugin installed, then I recommend to update it to the latest release, version 1.0.2.0.
