A customer just called me, with an obvious frustration in her voice, telling me that after she activated her licence on her private computer, she got the following message:
Trados Studio 2022 Freelance - The license edition does not work on domain-based network
The license is Trados Studio 2022 Freelance, and she used Trial version for two days. After that she bought a new license, activated it, and this is what happened.
Anyone knows how to solve this problem.

This message comes up when one launches Studio Freelance on a computer that is part of a Windows domain. Studio Freelance cannot be used on domain-based computers, for this you need the Professional version.
Ask your customer to check the configuration of her computer. Most probably, it is connected to a domain (maybe even via VPN).
