The bottom bar not displayed in Editor view

Hello,

For some reason the following bottom bar:

Screenshot of Trados Studio editor view showing the bottom bar with statistics: All segments, INS, 3011 (97.16%) translated, 16 (0.52%) to verify, 72 (2.32%) not translated, and character count 03099.

has suddenly and entirely disappeared from my editor view and I can't find any way to restore it. I can still see it in full screen mode, but not in regular view which is quite annoying. I have already tried resetting window layout, reinstalling and also installing an update, but nothing changes. How do I get it back? I have Studio 2021.

  • Hi Walter,

thanks a lot for your reply.

I don't think screen visibility is the issue – when I move the window up, I just get a bigger editing window and still no bottom bar. Also the bottom end of the side scroller is not accessible. The issue appeared suddenly after I opened one particular project package and since then affects all projects I work with.

I was trying to reset Studio according to instructions in your link, but couldn't manage to do it: when I get to App Data > Roaming > SDL, there are only 4 folders:Screenshot of a file explorer window showing folders named AppStore, SDL MultiTerm, SDL Trados Studio, and SpellChecker.

and no ProjectApi folder which I am supposed to rename. Under "SDL Trados Studio" there are 2 folders ("16" and "Studio16") and a VersionManager file. I am not sure how to proceed further...
