Impossible to open a package directly in Trados Studio 2022

Question

Hello, 
 I have just upgraded to Trados Studio 2022 from Trados Studio 2019. 
 Now I am unable to open directly a file in Trados Studio 2022 by double-clicking on it. I need to open the package from the application and the icons on my desktop are still the ones from Studio 2019. 
 When I double-click on the package, it tries to open it with Trados Studio 2019. 
 I need to add that I have uninstalled and reinstalled Trados Studio 2019.

This KB article explains. 
 Repairing your installation of Trados Studio (sdl.com) 
 Another short way is: - Type WIn + R and enter 'appwiz.cpl' into the input field 
 - In the list of programs that gets displayed, scroll down to Trados Studio 2022. Right-click and select 'Uninstall/Repair' 
 - Answer the confirmation prompt - When you get this: 
 click on 'Repair' (not Uninstall). 
 This will repair Studio 2022 and make it the default Studio version. It takes only 2-3 minutes to run.

 You can check the 1st value in the key named Default on the right pane (screen-shot from my machine): 
 
 This has to be the meaning of pointing in that article. I agree it's a bit cryptic&hellip; 
 Similar thing for the other key Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.sdlrpx (although a slightly different value: SDL.TradosReturnPackage.1 ). 
 I believe yours is different and is causing your issue, otherwise, you'd have seen the key Defaul on the right pane with the value mentioned in that article.
