Trados 2019 cannot export a simple Excel file with completed translation

Hello 
 It is quite annoying. I had the source Excel file. I have completed the translation but I could not export the completed file. 
 This is a very basic thing and should have been sorted by 2019 version. 
 I copied and pasted the table to Word file and re-translated. Putting it back to Excel was terrible and time consuming. I had to do manual correction.It was just about 2500 words. I don't know what I would have done if it was a larger file. 
 I am not sure upgrading to newer version would solve it. Working with TTX and bilingual files took some time to get settled in Trados Studio. 
 Also upgrading looks expensive now. I could not upgrade to 2021 version due to low business during pandemic. Now two version up, it costs an average of &pound;400 . Now that most jobs are coming in either client's translation platform or web-based platforms, I am thinking of stopping the upgrade sequence in 2019. Let's see.

HAKAN KIYICI You are right when you say that creating a target file from an Excel-SDLXLIFF is a 'very basic thing' and I can assure you that his also works fine in Studio 2019 and all other versions most of the time. But your problem is not a general problem of Studio 2019 with Excel files. If it were, we would receive thousands of complaints! 
 The error message you received is a generic one that does not give any clue as to what the cause of this error is. As unfortunate as this is, it may happen occasionally and most of the time it is either due to something particular in the source file or in your environment. 
 In such cases, the best approach is to (1) reset Studio and see if this helps or (2) test the compatibility of the source file by applying the batch task 'Pseudo-translate'. The second step will tell you if there is a problem with the source file. In such case, you may fix the source file and try again.
