Trados does not read background in word . the file was pdf file converted in word / i have been trying everything for four days//i have to understand...Thanks

  • This is a perfect example, why PDF files MUST be converted to Word with a decent OCR solution prior to opening them in Studio. You cannot expect ANY automated process to read such a file properly. You must convert it manually, telling the software what is background picture and where text is to be found. You can also decide, if the text is in table or in a text field. No PDF converter I ever seen will convert this file properly without user interaction. Use Abbyy FineReader or anything similar, but convert the file manually. Studio will not do that.
