Title says it all, really. I have successfully edited and closed the project but when it comes to creating the package, TRADOS just sits there at the creation stage and does nothing else.
I can even Cancel the creation (works OK, takes a while).
Anyone got any ideas?
I mean, there are no error messages, nothing. It just will not create the package.

Can you please post a screenshot of the creation page, where it gets frozen/does nothing else?
Is that a Studio package (sdlppx) or Worldserver package ( .wsxz)?
I wonder if this happens to other projects, can you please confirm?

I have just tried this again with the package from last week (in the end, I just sent the agency the XLIFF file) and now it does work.
A bit mysterious but I'm wondering if it relates to another error I'm getting where something (maybe Trados itself) is deleting the
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Temp\SDLTempFileRegen
directory and stopping files from being saved when closing a project.
This is an intermittent error that I'll report properly if it keeps happening. There's one update I haven't installed yet, maybe that will fix it.
Anyways, this error seems to have resolved itself.
I'll report back if it happens again and thanks for your quick response.

Many thanks for the link. I found this from Studio, it was suggested as a knowledge base item. I thought this might be CC Cleaner deleting the files but then I quit CC Cleaner and it still happens. It's not all the time, but it does happen. It's also only the SDLTempFileRegen folder, the Temp folder is full of other, much older stuff that's not being deleted.
I'll add all the exception folders and see if that helps but, like I say, it happens when CC Cleaner isn't running as well. Maybe some other program is deleting stuff...

also implies I have Editor open for a long time. This isn't true. I can open Editor with a file, change a single letter in a single segment and then try and save and I get the error. So I don't think this is an aggressive security program deleting temp files. Anyways, I need to upgrade from 16.2.9.9198 to 16.2.12.9338, maybe that will fix things.
I'll report back if I solve the issue!
