As a Trados 2021 freelance user, I was wondering why Trados does not remove from the list all files that have been canceled (deleled)...
Any suggestions?

Which files do you mean? From what list?

I understand I would have to delete from both source and target lists, right? Anyhow, these do not "disappear" from the project....
Of course these files do not disappear from the project, because you are deleting them on the TARGET side, if I get you correctly. If you want (for any reasons beyond my understanding) to delete files permanently from the project, switch to SOURCE side of the project and delete from there. This way both source AND target file will be deleted.

Your suggestion did not work!
Files are still showing on Trados, although I have tried to delete them! :-(
