The question is: If a customer wants to buy a new Trados Studio 2021 Professional, however, this is not possible, can he buy a Trados Studio 2022 Professional, and still somehow use TS 2021? Thanks in advance for the reply.

This is not possible. The only way to activate Studio 2021 through a 2022 license is if the license was upgraded from 2021 to 2022.
