Deepl - Times 24 hours vs am/pm

We are a German-language travel guide publisher and in future we will publish our texts in English in our own app.
The translation quality of Deepl is surprisingly good, but the translation of the times causes a lot of work in the post-processing. Sometimes Deepl is smart enough to switch to the am/pm time format, but in most cases it doesn't work.

In a query of mine here in the forum, I was pointed to a new feature in Trados 2021 where you can select the desired time format. However, I can hardly imagine that this feature in combination with Deepl is a solution.

Here is what I would like to see:
I tag the areas in Microsoft Word that contain time information.
In Trados, all texts are then translated exclusively with the tagged texts using deepl. For the tagged time information, a special MT is triggered, which has been taught for times.
Is this possible?

Many thanks

I think the quickest solution (if they are willing) is for you to speak to the DeepL team and see whether they can offer some customisation around the handling of dates/times.

But to answer your specific question... yes, I think it could be possible for Trados Studio to substitute recognised placeables in pace of a TM or an MT provider.  The concept already exists with TMs with the Terminjector application developed by  .  I know he has been working up a new version of this, but I don't know if it's capable of supplanting the formats returned by an MT provider.  If it could it would probably be quite useful as you could use this solution for any MT engine.
