So, here is what happens...
Image 1 -- I've selected the files I want to work with and click on open

Image 2 -- Loads of error messages; the unified file is open but I can't work on it.

Hi Ladislav,
Thanks a lot for you support but it didn't work.
The file Type Definition I need is XML for MadCap Flare

I have downloaded it from the SDL app store.

Still didn't work. I don't see the definition MadCap Flare in the list. I will restart the whole system to see if it will work then. :(

Maybe try going to Files>Options>File Types and see if you have a message on top saying something about aditional File Types available but not installed. Sometimes you need to install "activate" them manually in your File Types setting in Studio 2014
