Thank you for the mention, Jesús. Yulia Kovalskaya, AutoSuggest is a feature that provides suggestions from several sources, and one of those sources is upLift fragment matches (at the top of the list in the screenshot below). Other sources include termbases, translation memories and machine translation engines, AutoText and AutoSuggest dictionaries, which Jesús has mentioned in his reply. So the answer is that upLift does not replace AutoSuggest, because it is a part of AutoSuggest. When it comes to AutoSuggest dictionaries, though, you will find my opinion about it in the blog article Jesús has linked to.

And since we are talking about all those "suggestion features" provided by Studio, could you explain, in general terms, how "Automated Translation" works...sometimes it is so bothering when the program generates (with errors!!!!) in the target segment long codes, made up of numbers or numbers+alphabetic characters. What sources are used for AT? We systematically clean our memories, deleting the TUs that contain only numbers, symbols, alphanumerical combinations, etc....
