Hi there,
We notice that if we translate *.msg files and add line breaks in Trados Studio, these don't seem to appear in the final message (at least for Japanese). I'm sending 2 poor quality screenshots (one from Trados interface where you can clearly see the line breaks and the output).
Is it something that could be fixed in Trados Studio?

I am able to reproduce inconsistencies when it comes to a *.msg file whereby I add soft returns
I will raise the issue / do internal investigations and update this post with any relevant information

Thanks Lydia. Actually, the issue was only reported to me by our JA team... but I just tried on another language and the soft returns are indeed ignored. The *.msg background layout is likely too complex to be "changed" by Trados Studio but a workaround would be great. Thanks
