I suggest a reset.  To do this just close Trados Studio and then rename this folder:

c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\

to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16_old\

Finally restart Trados Studio and try again.

Also make sure you have the latest version of Multiterm installed as there are many multiterm references in your error message.  You should have these versions:

Trados Studio 2021 - 16.2.12.9338
MultiTerm 2021 - 16.2.1.1044

Hi, Paul, thank you so much for your response. I have reset Studio and also recreated the term base. Alas, I am still receiving the same error message, albeit it is much shorter now...  Does this have something to do with the fact that I changed the pretranslate percentage to 70 percent? (I am working with a document that takes a large chunk from a template document, so having a 100 percent on pretranslate slows everything down significantly. I have set the search percentage for the TM to 51%. Do pretranslate and search need to be the same percentage?).

The problem does seem to be coming from Multiterm.  Did you also make sure you have the version of Multiterm installed to match your version of Studio?

Ahhh! I realize I opened the same project as before, and had not removed the old TB and replaced it with the new one! So far it seems to be working. I will touch base again if it does not!
