Using same TM for three review projects: auto-propagation

Hi,

I'm working on Studio 2021 SR 2. I've got all in all 3 ppx project files for review. Each has a version of a manual, with up to 90 % identical segments (800 segs all in all). So of course I'm using the same TM for all projects. But here's the problem:

I've reviewed the files in the first project, accepted the translation and in this way saved the changes into the TM.

When I open the second project, I can see the new entries in my translation results, but none have been auto-propagated. I'm assuming this is because the file I'm working on has all the segments set to 100 % translated, and the auto-propagation doesn't recognise the new TM entries as better matches (both at 100 %). I'm currently going through all the segments manually and checking the TM results for the edited solution, but surely there's a better way. I've also tried replacing the old entries with new ones for the TM, but this only gives a "The target is different" prompt in translation results, no auto-propagation. (I would imagine, if there was a button to "propagate from memory", it would find the differences). I'm also not sure at what point in the workflow the auto-propagation is supposed to happen.

On another note, the problem is very similar to when reviewing outside of Trados: 1. I review in Phrase (or similar). 2. I export the TMX and Import it to my Trados project. 3. I have to go through every segment manually.

So:

Is there any way to get the editor to replace *all edited target segments* with the new targets from the TM? I know this is very easy when working on a clean target file (translation), but I can't figure out, if I can auto-change segments that are marked as "translated".

Here's what my a-p settings look like:

Trados Studio Auto-propagation settings window showing options enabled for auto-propagation with a minimum match value set to 98%.

best
