Hello,
I have recently installed Studio 2022 on my system and I have an issue with templates.
If I go to File > Setup > Project Templates > (Project Templates dialog) > (Select a template) > (Project Template Settings dialog), the "Task Sequences" button is always grayed out and disabled, which prevents me from editing the batch tasks of any template.
Has anybody encountered this issue and found a solution?

What version of the software are you using? Editing task sequences is a feature only available with the Professional licence. So if you had the trial version first then you would have been able to do this, but once yo licence the product with a Freelance licence (for example) you will lose that ability.

Thanks for your reply. I have a Freelance Plus version, but I was able to edit task sequences with Studio 2021 Freelance Plus, so maybe the feature has been exclueded from this version for the new 2022 release? Basically I just need a very simple template with the "Convert to Translatable Format" and "Copy to Target Languages" batch tasks, and without any pre-translation or project TMs.
However, I was able to find the template I had edited in Studio 2021 and imported it into 2022, so problem solved. :-)

I have no idea how. This has never been a feature that should be available to non-professional users. You can solve it by manually editing the templates in a text editor, but out of the ox this should not be available.
I was able to find the template I had edited in Studio 2021 and imported it into 2022, so problem solved. :-)
Let's hope you have not caused other problems now. If you import a template from 2021 you bring in old filetypes that no longer there in 2022 and may not work correctly, you bring in possible bugs that were fixed in 2022. Importing templates from an old version of the software to a new one is never a smart idea.

As per the screenshots below, the feature is available to me in Studio 2021 and not in 2022. Maybe it was a dumb idea to import the template, but everything seems to work normally and hopefully I won't have any issues with file types or bugs. If it happens, I will edit the template manually as you suggest. Thank you!
