What is my GroupShare Authentication? Is it specific to me? Or to my customer? I just upgraded from Trados 2019 to Trados 2022. Now I am trying to access a project via a link a customer sent me to GroupShare. GroupShare is asking for my "GroupShare Authentication". I have no idea what this is. I have tried my SDL Trados account user name and password. They do not work. What do I need to enter here? Or does my customer need to give me login information that is specific to them?
In order to get access to your customer's GroupShare server, you need to receive the necessary information from him. This is (1) the URL to be used to connect to his server and the username + password. These credentials are different from those of your RWS user account. They relate to the user that your customer has defined in his GroupShare server. Please ask him to provide you this information.
Once you have it, in Studio go to "File - Setup - Servers", click on the "Add" button and enter the information you received, like this:
