Alternative translation options and synonyms

Hello. 
 Trados is new for me and I have a hopefully easy question. Before I used Trados I was working with DeeL-Pro and when you translate a file in DeepL you can click on a word within the translation and you get a lot of alternative translation suggestions and synonyms. I have incorporated DeepL into Trados but I can not do the same. I get a few translation suggestions but it is not the same, I can not click on word and look what other synonym suggestions there are. What am I doing wrong? I would really appreciated it, if someone could help me out.

 You are not doing anything wrong. The integration returns a translation and that's it, mainly because it's based around the concept of pre-translating a file against a Translation Memory and Machine Translation and then post-editing. 
 I don't know if the API supports getting alternatives but it would make a neat enhancement. Perhaps you can suggest it here: RWS AppStore Ideas
