I own a license for Trados Studio Freelance 2022 that I intend to use alternately in my PC and in my laptop. I asked via chat if there was a limit of activations/deactivations, and I was said that there is a limit of 3 deactivations/activations in a 12-month period, because these are considered resets. Is this true? I was also told that once used the 3 activations/deactivations, I should ask the resets to the Support team.

There are agreements in place which is covered under the EULA when purchasing the software.
If you are unable to deactivate/reset licenses yourself due to errors then of course our support team will assist.
However if this is a reoccurring request there are changes for license codes to corrupt and of course the teams will want to understand the circumstances if only to find more sustainable ways of working.
If you are wanting to use Trados freelance on a PC and Laptop, you should be be purchasing a freelance plus license which is specifically designed for this purpose. Alternatively this is a good use case for using Language Cloud
