Multiterm desktop 2022 has an error when I try to open an existing termbase.
Hi JF Delannoy
The error is due to trying to open a .tmx file with Multiterm. The supported version would be .sdltb. Please convert the .tmx file to .sdltb and then you will be able to open your termbase. You can use the Glossary Converter app for that https://appstore.rws.com/plugin/175/
Kind regards,
Elisa

Thanks. I'll try that.
NB: can it convert all TBs at once?

Hi JF Delannoy
Yes, you keep the Ctrl button pressed and select multiple termbases.

Thanks.
NOK
I converted one, but Trados Studio 2022 only suggests sdltb or mdb.
If I say: all formats, and select the newly created sllx bas, error: "General error occurred MultiTerm is unable to retrieve the multimedia object."
Hi JF Delannoy
The .tmx file needs to be converted to .sdltb format. What is the format of the file you are trying to add in Multiterm?
Kind regards,
Elisa

tmx to sdltb
Glossary Converter seems to have done it correctly. No error message.
If you are trying to open the sdltb file in Multiterm and it results in the above error, please check out if you find this article helpful gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge
