My Trados Studio 2021 would not close down, so I guess I somehow "forced" it to close. Now the Studio will not open, not even after repairing and then reinstalling it. Instead, I keep getting a message: "Unexpected exception when initializing view part Fragment Matches." How can I proceed?
You probably need to reset. To do this just close Trados Studio and then rename this folder:
c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\
to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16_old\
If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:
Then restart Trados Studio and see if that helped.
