SDLTM Repair doesn't work - how to export a tm to tmx if it cannot be opened "database disk image is malformed"

Hello there,

I hope someone can help me.

I have a corrupted TM. I tried the solutions here (https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0039439) but they don't help.

SDLTM Repair doesn't create a new TM with the name "_repaired" in the end.

So now I would like to try to export my corrupted TM to tmx and reimport it in a new one.
But I cannot open the TM in Trados-->Translation memories.
So I cannot click on Export

Now I tried again, I don't know why, I get another error:

An error occured while searching the translation memory. The TM may contain invalid translation units.

I click ok. It's open but empty.

If I try to export, I get the message: Exported 0 translation units.

How can I export manually?

How can I see if metadata is missing and what are metadata?

Custom fields and their values, dates translations were created or moderated and who by, language resources... even things like the ability to recognise a context match as opposed to just a 100% match.  The SDLTM holds a lot of information so I wondered if you might notice if things are missing as you work.

I guess the most important thing is for you to be able to recover years of translating!!    Clearly it's already done a better job than our very basic repair tool does, but nonetheless if you do notice anything else doesn't get recovered it would be interesting to know the limitations.
