Segment background colour

Question

I don't know if I have inadvertently changed a setting but in Editor all the segments have a white background, so it is difficult to see where one begins. 
 Here is a screen shot of the target side of a project, as you can see it is completely white, instead of alternating shades.

 That isn't completely white. It seems to be alternating white and grey. I wonder if you changed this? 
 
 One solution would be to "Reset to defaults" when you are in that view. It'll just reset all the colours used in this settings window.
