I'm beginner with Trados
I would like to know what "Context Matches are out of scope" means ?
In Trados, many sentences are CM. So is it goof or not in this translation ?
Some of them were 100% (in scope) but with a « ' » (straight one), which is wrong. If I change them to a « ’ », all of them became CM.
I really don't understand.
Should I keep 100% even if it's wrong ???

It's in my "instructions"
Scope of this job and translation: Context Matches are out of scope, 100% match segments are in.
For example:
Source: Operator's Manual
Translation: Manuel de l'opérateur = 100%, but there's a straight single quote. It must be a curly one = Manuel de l’opérateur
If I change it, the translation is a CM one.
So the CM one is correct but out of the scope / The 100% one isn't correct, but it's in scope lol

Ah... ok, in tis context it seems to mean that you should not touch Context Matches. So might make sense for you to lock them if they're not locked already.

If you change it then it will become a CM if you go back into that segment since it's now in your TM with the appropriate context for it to be a CM. That's probably ok since it wasn't before you did what you needed to do.
