Trados Studio 2022 - Term Recognition Hangs on "Searching for terms..."

We are working on a small project with a relatively small Termbase (about 3500 terms). Two people are working on the project with the same configuration (see below). On one of the two computers, when a segment is selected in the translation view, the term recognition pane shows "Searching for terms...", but no terms are displayed (and consequently, no suggestions are shown during translation).

MOre information:

  • If I do a term search within Studio, I can find the term. However: if I right click the search result and choose View Term Details from the context menu, the Term View pane is displayed, but it says "No open termbase".
  • I have checked if the language pairs selected in the Termbases node of the Project settings correspond to the language pairs defined in the Termbase, and they do.
  • The filetype we were sent by our client is a sdlxliff file (we didn't do the conversion to bilingual).
  • The project was installed on the computer via a Project Package created by me, which included the Termbase.
  • The Project Package did not include the TMs, which were added after project creation on the target machine.
