tamil typing

Hi all,

I have just installed the trial version of Trados and when I am typing in my language (tamil -using alt+2 key) it is not correctly displayed. How to manage this?

    tamil -using alt+2 key

    What does this even mean?

    it is not correctly displayed.

I think it would help if you shared a screenshot, or even a short video.  You should also explain:

    • what IME are you using?
    • what font have you got set up in the source file and also in Trados Studio for Tamil?

  • Thanks for the response...I am using a software called  Nhm writer  for Tamil typing which enables me to type english phonetics for tamil. The shortcut for changing display language from english to tamil is Alt+2. But when I type it is not displaying tamil characters properly...it goes automatically backwards. I am also sending short video.
