Multilingual Excel length verification does not work

Question

Hello, Community, 
 I have a very simple Excel file (see screenshot below). For this, I want to set up the Multilingual Excel filetype, so Trados alerts me when the translation exceeds the limit specified in the Excel. In my company, we have already done this with a much more complicated Excel file, and the length verification worked marvellously - here, however, it does not (no error message in the Editor when a segment that is too long is confirmed). Do you know why? Any help would be appreciated.

 ok - did you run this batch task? 
 
 You need to do this if you want additional context to be brought into the project for use... length/pixel checks fall into this requirement.

 The second screenshot you show here isn't relevant as this is only related to the standard verification check. The third screenshot is the right one as it's specific to the Multilingual Excel filetype. Can you check if your project settings has this enabled?

 This isn't the Bilingual Excel Filetype! 
 But it seems a reasonable request. For t to work we'd need to be able to use the same column for context here: 
 
 As you see I can't. So it would be very useful enhancement request I think.
