Translate
Hi - I use Trados Freelance to translate Framemaker files, i.e. before being able to translate them they must be converted to MIF format. However, the latest version of Framemaker and their MIF 2022 format is not supported and cannot be processed by Trados (and I have checked for any updates, there are none - I'm 100 % up to date). So for now I convert all Framemaker files to the previous FM 2019 version, convert to the old MIF format, translate using Trados, convert back to Framemaker and open the files in Framemaker 2022. But it's a lot of extra work.
Does anybody have a smarter solution? Or know anything about when Trados will be updated to support MIF 2022? I find it a bit slow that it hasn't been done yet!
