I am working with Starter 2014 on a mac. Suddenly the function find&replace in the toolbar as in the command F does not open anymore, I cannot make a search.
I probably tiped something wrongly without notice it. Thank you for your help.

I'm not sure what you mean. Maybe this looks different in Starter 2014 and/or on a Mac.
Here are suggestions by Emma herself in reply to someone else with this problem:
After clicking Ctrl+F to bring up the Find&Replace window, press Windows key plus the right or left arrow keys to move it into focus.
If that doesn't work, open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Escape), expand SDL Trados Studio, right click "find and replace" and select "Bring to Front".

It is regarding Studio 2011 but the advice is still just as useful, well for PC users at least...

PS: of course, those instructions would have to be adjusted, if possible, to work on a Mac but maybe something similar is possible...
