Issue processing hidden text with hyperlinks in Word

Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me.

I'm trying to prepare a Word doc for translation by hiding lines of text that should not be captured for translation. The issue I'm encountering is that when the hidden text contains a hyperlink, it gets captured in the editor as inline tags, even when there is no translatable text in the segment.

I created an example file so you can see what I mean - here is a screenshot from Studio 2019 (I also tested 2022 with the same result). You can see that most of these segments do not contain any translatable text, just tags:

(BTW I used all of the default file type settings. I tried the "extract hyperlinks" option both enabled and disabled but it doesn't affect the hidden text behavior, either way.)

I also ran this exact same file in Studio 2014 and actually got the result that I would expect -- only 2 segments available for translation:

Am I doing something wrong here? I'd prefer not to use 2014 if I don't have to.

There are hundreds of these "hidden hyperlink" segments in my client's project, and relatively few segments that actually need translation. This amounts to a lot of unnecessary busy work for my linguists, on top of the fact that these extra segments are polluting the TMs.

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!
