Thank you very much for your suggestion. I will look into the Microsoft Windows operating system aspect as you say, and do it together with my computer technician.

I am also very happy to tell you that I was able to contact the Mexico representative for Trados (he is based in Mexico City where I live) and we had a zoom session. He connected to my computer with his computer and made all the necessary changes, and I am happy to say that the problem has been solved. I also bought the annual support package.

I am new to this on-line world of translators who use Trados, or as I like to say, Saint Trados and have a lot o exploring to do.
