Hello
We are about to work with Salesforce files and client can get us either the Salesforce stf or xlf file format.
Wondering if anyone has had any experience translating either file format.
Guessing each would have its own issues not only bringing into Trados, but might have issues once client gets files back and uploads to system.
Any advice or opinions would be appreciated.

I have never worked with them, but Salesforce seem to recommend XLF: https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.workbench_translation_file_considerations.htm&type=5
Reading through the descriptions I think this seems the more logical approach so I'd start there.
