Hi,
I'm using Trados Studio 2022 and translating a word file. In Studio, word spaces are really large and I often think there's double space, or that the text paragraph is justified, although this is not the question. Is there something I could do to fix this?

Does pressing the pilcrow button (¶) on the Home ribbon help?
I usually translate without the pilcrow and can tell if there is one space or two. Now all spaces are a little too large, and all I did was upgrade from Studio 2021 to 2022.

I guess my question would first of all be is this a problem? If it's not carried over to your target file then what ae the reasons for wanting to change this?
The second thing would be, is this also a problem in the source in Studio?
The third thing would be, is it font related perhaps? What happens if you change the font for your target language in Studio? This would only affect the display in Studio and not the font in the target document.

I can’t see anything noticeable, sorry.
I’ve copied the 1st Trados segment and the first sentence from Word (both from your screenshots) and stretched the first one a bit in order to match the pixel length of both, and I see spaces above and below have the same length:
Maybe some other user or RWS employee can give some more light here…
