I've been struggling with this issue for years, suspect it gets reset to default each time I upgrade (currently Studio 2021).

I receive documents that are loaded with tables of figures which use a soft space as a thousand separator - and I want to retain this space in the target language. Instead Trados insists on changing the space to a comma. 

So I put in 123 234, and I get back 123,234, though what I want is 123 234.

I don't see an option for making another choice.

The above is taken from project settings, but I want to make the rule the default for all my memories - but with the possibility of changing it at project level.

I'm afraid I'm not one of the most IT-savvy users so please, a fairly basic explanation!
