TQA Configurations

Question

Studio 2005 comes preloaded with 4 TQA configurations as project templates (.sdltpl) files. If I already have extensive or elaborate project templates, how can I add a TQA configuration to my existing project templates. All I want is the TQA information. I see no way to export / import TQA data or merge project templates files. This means that, assuming I have 50 project templates, I would habe to re-create them all in order to add a TQA configuration to them. Is this by design, or am I missing something here?

Hi John, 
 It's a bad idea to keep old templates and you'd be well advised to recreate them anyway. I think you have no way around this short of writing some code to handle this. Actually this is not a bad idea and we did start a github project to create a decent migration tool so perhaps you or someone in your organisation would like to contribute to this?
