How can I upgrade TM without changing TM user IDs?

Hi everyone, 
 Since we upgraded Trados Studio 2017 to 2019, small orange triangles have kept appearing, which means we need to upgrade TMs. However, we would like to do so without changing TM user IDs linked to each entry of TMs. The IDs are shown on the right bottom corner of the TM view of Studio. This is because we need to identify who registered which entries. 
 When we upgraded TM before, from older version to 2017, all the IDs were unintentionally updated and changed to the ID of a user who had actually performed the upgrade procedure. 
 
 We would like to avoid that to happen this time. How can we achieve that? Any help would be appreciated.

 Then I believe it would have been deemed a bug. I would hope that since then its been addressed, otherwise we would be having similar concerns being raised on an ongoing basis. Could you save a copy of your TM for backup and then perform the upgrade in good faith and assess the ID's. If I am wrong and your concerns are true for 2019, then you have a backup TM to revert back to. On the other hand, upgrading the TM may prove a smooth process with no unintentional issues
