Hello.
Is there any way of disabling pop up windows with comment contents displayed when one hovers the cursor over a segment with a comment in TS? I receive files from my customer which contain plenty of extensive comments, and those pop up windows can be a real nuisance, as they extremely efficiently obscure the screen virtually any time I move the mouse.
I checked the TS options and looked for a solution on the Internet, but to no avail.

if you're referring to the small po-up box when you hover the cursor on the segments, I'm afraid it's coming from Studio UI, so we can't do anything about it. However, what you could probably do to ease a bit the annoying pop-ups is to maybe use keyboard shortcuts and keyboard keys to move up and down the segments in Editor view.
On another hand, are these comments to be localized perhaps, so need to be extracted for translation? I imagine not, but depending on the comment type, you can engage with your client to have them added as track change instead. This way, you would avoid the pop-up box.
So if it's a correction/editing that needs ammending to a certain segment/term, a track change with the "correction" would suit. However if it's just a comment like "do not translate" etc, then indeed, it won't help my suggestions.
Does this clear things a bit?

Yes, those are the boxes I was referring to. In my case, however, they most often contain so much text that they obscure most of the working area in Trados.
Unfortunately, they are hints from the customer on what should be done with a certain piece of text (similar to the "do not translate" case you referred to), so it seems I will have to live with them. Yet, getting accustomed to using keys instead of mouse might actually help to some extent, thanks again :)
