Problem entering comments in Studio 2014

Question

When I try to enter a comment in Studio 2014, the dialogue box opens, but as soon as I start to type, I get the error message: "Attempted to read or write protected memory. this is often an indication that other memory is corrupt." This recently started happening.

Another thing we have seen that can cause this is Anti-Virus. Some AV solutions need to have Studio added as an exception to their checks. Might be worth deactivating your AV just to see if this is the source of the problem, then at least you'll know what needs fixing. 
 
If that doesn't help you should raise a support case. Go to the Knowledgebase;

Follow the route for your problem and if there is no answer that helps by the time you get to the end you'll be presented with a form to contact support. Complete all the fields in the form making sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you. 
 
Also use the Chrome browser to log the case if you have it; you'll get more success in completing the form.
