Failed to load the required language resources (One or more errors occured). The default language resources will be used.

Hello, I'm using Trados Studio 2022 with cloud-based resources, and already 2 days when opening my file (with which I've been working for over a week with no problems) I'm getting the mentioned message. I cannot confirm the segments and upgrade translation memory.

  • Hello,

I understand that you're experiencing issues with Trados Studio 2022 when opening your file and receiving an error message related to language resources. To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Ensure that your Trados Studio 2022 is up to date. Check for updates within the application and install any available updates.

Step 2: Verify your cloud-based resources are properly connected. Go to the "Project Settings" and ensure that your Translation Memories and Termbases are correctly linked to your project.

Step 3: If the issue persists, try creating a new project and re-importing your file. This may help to reset any corrupted settings or resources.

Step 4: Clear the cache in Trados Studio. Go to "File" > "Setup" > "Options" > "File Types" > "SDLXLIFF" > "Translation Memory and Automated Translation" and click on "Clear Cache."

Step 5: If the problem still exists, consider resetting your Trados Studio settings to default. To do this, go to "File" > "Setup" > "Options" > "Reset to Default Settings."

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be necessary to reinstall Trados Studio 2022. Make sure to back up your projects and resources before doing so.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Best regards,
