Due to essential maintenance, access to Trados cloud will be unavailable on Saturday 30 August from 00:00 to 12:00 UTC.

Error message "Dienst Sdl.TranslationStudio.Api.ProjectManagement.IProjectManagementService konnte nicht gestartet werden.

When trying to open SDL Trados Studio 2014, the message above appears. How can I solve this?

    Thank you for your post.
    Based on your reported error, please try resetting SDL Trados Studio to default state.
    Therefore, please check the following :

    1. Make sure that all 2014 components are closed.
    2. Browse here:

    C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Local\SDL: rename the SDL Trados Studio and ProjectApi folder
    C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\SDL: rename the SDL Trados Studio folder and ProjectApi folder if there is one.
    C:\Users\[User_Name]\Documents\Studio [VERSION]: rename the Studio [VERSION folder to Studio [VERSION]_Old

    3. If you do not see folders such as "AppData" please check if you have hidden folders on.
    4. After performing step 3. check if SDL Trados Studio opens.
