Currently, I cannot add new abbreviations to the abbreviation list under Project Settings. Abbreviations are saved only if I add them to a TM in Translation Memories View.
Any idea?

What version of Trados Studio are you running? Are you not able to customised the abbreviations under the language resources of the first TM you are using? From memory if you have several TMs being used, it might only be the top one that is checked.
Trados Studio 2022. Of course, I wanted to customize the top TM. I added new abbreviations, clicked OK to close the windown, reopened settings and the newly added abbreviations were not saved.
I have the same issue. Any newly added abbreviations disappear once I restart Trados.
No matter if I do that from project settings or hit settings button in TM editor

I cannot add segmentation rules from either Translation Memories View or Project Settings. The segmentation rules are not saved.
Please, help.
