Translate
Good evening,
We have been faced with a weird problem today. We translated a text in which the author had added a footnote, but instead of using a regular footnote, they had created it within a text box at the bottom of the page (so plain text in a text box).
It appeared in Trados, was translated, etc. all the way to signed off, but when we hit "Finalize" it did not appear in the target file. I even checked by opening said document in the notepad and searching with CTRL+F, the translated content was nowhere to be found, so it doesn't seem like it was hidden or misplaced in any way. I recreated the project several times, still no improvement. I checked settings for ages to no avail.
Is there a reason for this and possibly a fix?
Due to this, the file was sent to client with missing content, and we'd like to avoid any similar situation in the future.
