Although I setup the localization of numbers as following:
the non-breaking space is not added and the space between the number and measurement is removed.
I am using the version Trados Studio 2022 - 17.0.6.14902. Has anything have any other suggestion on how to solve this?
You need to do it in your Project Settings:
And you'll get this:
Note that changing settings in File > Options, as you were trying, will solve your issue for the future projects created using the default template, but changes won’t be carried out to an already created project. That’s why you need to do it in Project Settings. Also, as you have 2 Spanish variants, you may want to make changes to both variants if this is what you need.
