I have noticed, sometimes the split happens around a segment that has a link on it (and there are many links in the document).

Can you please show all content vs all segments?
I wish to see what is sitting between segments 570-57-572

Do keep in mind the app converts it to a Word document, so if the source content including hyperlinks are not being managed well then you will need to review MS file type settings in Studio prior to creating your project.

In some circumstances TM segment settings can be in conflict with source content - but for typically MS documents its unlikely

Thanks for your answer. Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by showing all contents. Could you be more specific, please? (I am new to Trados and I don't know much of its functionalities). I include a screenshot of the Editor with "Full tag text" clicked (in case it was that what you meant). I have checked the settings, and in the screenshot you included, I have ticked the same boxes as you, included the highlighted one "Extract Hyperlinks". 

*I include 2 more screenshots below this one. 

The text in the pdf is included in a table, (see image below). I don't know if this is related. 

The PDF Assistant extracted the table properly, though. Below is the screenshot of the Word Doc I got from the PDF. 
If you have any idea of what could I do to get the settings right, I'll appreciate it.

If you open the Review tab, you have All segments and All content options:

As I mentioned on the other post, I’d process “a bit” the out-of-the-box Word document created by Trados. You can find it in the Source folder of the project. For example, if you translate from English (UK) to Spanish (Spain), this Word document is in the en-uk folder in your project folder.

Here is the screenshot of those segments, showing all contents. I see now that there are many formatting tags I didn't see before, and the whole document is full of them. So, I need to clean the Word document of bold, italics and other features, (I don't know how to clean cf tags, or hyperlinks, but will investigate), in theory, I should have a better experience with the splitting segments, too? : )

The shortcut CTRL+SPACE will remove any formatting on the selected text in Word.

The shortcut works also in Trados, but it’s better and faster to edit in Word (a word processing tool) than in Trados Studio (a CAT tool).
