Trados Studio can't find the file meant to start a new project

Hello!

My Trados Studio 2022 SR 1 seems unable to find the file I want to use to start a new project. I go into the new project wizard, choose the correct path to the file (it's a sample from the Trados Studio Level 1 course), but the wizard tells me "no items match your search" when I choose the folder containing the sample file. It indicates the folder is empty, and I know it's not empty, because the file is there, along with others, in Windows Explorer.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm afraid I'm just suspicious of your environment.  First you show me this path to the folder:

File path showing Dropbox synchronization: ktun > Dropbox > PC (2) > Documents > Sample Files.

    Now you show me this:

File path without Dropbox synchronization: This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Users > ktun > Documents > Sample Files.

Doesn't look the same, and we also see this:

Two file icons with green checkmarks indicating synchronization status, possibly with OneDrive.

See the little tick marks on the file icons. That means you are synchronising this folder somewhere... maybe OneDrive?

I am sure the problems you are having relate to this.  OneDrive is a nightmare anyway.

Maybe try dragging and dropping the folder into the wizard instead of using the "select folder" approach.  If the files don't come with it then either then I would really question your working environment.
