I find Any TM files very annoying, I mostly translate from British Englisch into German. In my present project my client cannot open the file because he needs the British English version. How can I get rid of Any TM files or prevent them from always getting in the way? The AI answer to my last question was no great help.
How can they be annoying? You should not be doing anything with them at all! Just work with the TM you created, always select it, and if you use AnyTM still select your own TM. Trados Studio will manage the reverse TM for you. You should never select it, never do anything with it!

Hi Paul, thank your for your reply! Normally I don't mind these Any TM files that much, I just don't find a way around them. One of my problems is that I have a few old TMs which I never use and which still are in the list. I just don't find a way to remove them because, I must admit, I don't find where they are saved. I now think this is the opportunity for me to upgrade from my current version 2019. Thanks again! Ingrid

If they are in your list in Studio you can hover over them to see the path.
You can also just do a windows search for *sdltm and that should find all your SDLTM files. Then you can see about consolidating them perhaps and getting them into order.
